Huracán Rum

A rum made from pure ingredients and mixed with blood.

Huracán is a stormy encounter between rum from Latin America and our own Danish rum. We shipped the organic rum across the Atlantic and then matured it in our own casks. Finally we blended it with our own organic rum, distilled right here on Funen.

We used both sherry and bourbon casks to mature Huracán.

Huracán is an organic rum that is dry on the palate. This is mainly due to our recipe, which borrows from both the French and the Spanish style. But the casks we use also play a major role. Huracán is neither coloured with caramel nor sweetened with sugar. What you see and what you taste are 100% natural.

Natural colour

None of our products are chill filtered. We want all the taste and power to remain in the product, so the taste of our whisky and rum stays as natural and intense as possible. We perform only a gentle mechanical filtering that removes, for example, the small quantity of charcoal at the bottom of a charred whisky cask.
