Ardor – Isle of Fionia is a beautiful organic whisky, the fragrance of which will transport you back to childhood. To Christmas time, when Grandma baked the world’s best Danish butter cookies and the beautiful aroma filled the house. When you open the bottle, you will be greeted by a wonderful scent of vanilla and green apples with a hint of apricot.

The taste is fruity, light and sweet with notes of oranges, apricots, vanilla and almonds.

None of our products are chill filtered. We want all the taste and power to remain in the product, so the taste of our whisky and rum stays as natural and intense as possible. We perform only a gentle mechanical filtering that removes, for example, the small quantity of charcoal at the bottom of a charred whisky cask.

A world-class whisky

It is no secret that we are proud of our wonderful Ardor – Isle of Fionia whisky. This organic single malt whiskey is a Danish whisky that was matured exclusively in white oak casks, most of which were previously used for Bourbon in the United States. It is a great example of what a good cask can do to a good distillate. Ardor – Isle of Fionia is world-class Danish whisky.

Winner of: WSA Gold, IWSC Outstanding Silver, SFWSC Silver, NYWSC  Silver, ISC Silver and Spirits Masters Silver.

100% organic whisky Distilled at Nyborg Destilleri.

What the experts say

“Mouth: Impressive. It’s a textbook pure malt whisky (…) Seriously, I think this is very good and worth a rather high score (given the young age). Well done, Denmark!”

(...) sweet and mouth-watering on delivery, this could easily be mistaken for a Speysider as the grain is imbued with the light vanillas of a high quality, previously used cask. (...) Technically, a right little beauty
